Rui Ting Ji is a Canadian-Chinese animator and filmmaker based in Montreal, Quebec. Playing with new and old art forms, she works in animation, interactive narratives, documentary, and animated comics. She is most interested in sharing stories of hidden perspectives and finding beauty in the smallest details. Her films tend to focus on real people or issues, and have screened around the world. Her latest film, Tell Me You Still Love Me, is a five-part exposition chronicling a deeply intimate portrayal of relationship tension. She is an active member of Astroplastique, a free-form collective where she collaborates with other filmmakers on various animation-based work.
